Mini-Biography
Alec Medlock was born on the 13th March 1990, in Torrance, California. He is a Red Belt in Shao Lin Kung Fu and he had many Asian friends that went to Chinese school. He decided that he also wanted to go to Chinese School to learn Chinese! after finishing his first year at the United Chinese Learning Center (UCLC) in Southern California he enjoyed the teachers, students, and all the families that attend.
Even more amazing is that Alec has attended a bi-lingual French school since Kindergarten. To his family's delight, Alec has received First Place in the Chinese Reciting Contest for native language speach. This contest was sponsored by the Southern California Council of Chinese Schools (SCCCS) on May 7, 2000 at the Acadia High School in Acadia, California. After receiving his award Alec was even asked to be a guest on a Chinese radio station to talk about his achievement.
Not only does Alec like to speak and write Chinese, but he plans to learn about Chinese painting. Alec wants to learns as much about the Chinese culture as he can. "I want to learn all about Chinese things. I love everything related to Chinese so very much."
Alec's film credits includes The Long Ride Home, with Randy Travis and Eric Robers as well as The United States of Leland and "Dennis". On television he has guest starred on Malcolm in the Middle, Family Law and "Danny". Other television guest appearances includes several epiosodes of Drake & Josh, Cold Case 7th Heaven, Judging Amy and Everwood. And more recently on the 2007 series State of Mind, he also provided some additional voice work for the 2007 animated feature Surfs Up. Alec also did some additional voices for Finding Nemo and was the English dubbed voice of "Attia" for the film Hilfe, ich bin ein Junge. He also appeared as 'Craig' in the 2008 TV movie Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh.
