Alyson Stoner
Alyson Stoner was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 11, 1993. After honing her techniques in
ballet, tap and jazz at the O’Connell’s Dance Studio in her
hometown, Alyson decided to try the more popular hip-hop dances that was the in-thing in LA.
She trained with such well-known choreographers like Wade Robson, Fatima and Hi Hat. So it
came as no surprise when she auditioned and was cast to dance in the Missy Elliott videos
“Work It” and “Gossip Folks”. With the popularity of the videos, Alyson has been in demand
by such media outlets as “Extra”, “The Maury Povich Show”, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, and
magazines such as “YM” and “M”. She performed on The Jay Leno Show and with Missy Elliott
at The 2003 American Music Awards with Missy Elliott and on “MTV’s Fashionably Loud” and
Seattle’s Radio Concert.
On television she has made guest appearances on I'm with Her and Drake & Josh and provided
the voice of "Kid Rat" in the animated feature Garfield, Now out on DVD.
Other TV appearances includes playing 'Max' in four episodes of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
as well as I Married a Princess and That's So Raven.
She also appeared in the hit series House (Selfish) in 2010 playing Della.
Alyson reprised her role as 'Sarah Baker" in Cheaper by the Dozen 2 which opened
December 2005. She also played 'Young Dancer" in Step Up.
She was the voice of "Isabella: for the new 2007 animated series Phineas and Ferb.
She played the role of "Alice McKinley" in the family Drama Alice Upside Down.
She also played 'Caitlyn' in the 2008 made for TV movie Camp Rock.
Alyson was the voice of 'Lorelei Tan Gu' in the film Kung Fu Magoo (2010) and returned as
'Caitlyn' in Camp Rock: The Final Jam.
Alyson returned in the Step Up sequel as "Camille" in Step Up 3-D.
The IMDB is reporting that she is rumored to return in Step Up 4 which is expected to be realeased in 2012.
