Mini-Biography
Annasophia was born December 8th 1993 in Denver, Colorado she began her career on a church stage in front of 500 people in Colorado, USA. And then went on to be seen by millions in the lead role of Opal, opposite Jeff Daniels, in the 20th Century Fox film Because of Winn-Dixie (2005), directed by Wayne Wang.
On television she made a guest-starring role for Nickelodeon, where she played Liza in Drake & Josh, she also played the lead role in Samantha: An American Girl Holiday, a TV movie for Warner Bros. She was also the voice of "Danielle Fenton" on Danny Phantom.
Since Winn-Dixie AnnaSophia has appeared in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, also for for Warner Bros., where she portrayed the role of the gum-chewing Violet Beauregarde and starred opposite Johnny Depp. She did not stop there she has roles in Doubting Thomas and for 2008 The Reaping as "Loren", and Have Dreams, Will Travel and as "leslie Burke" in Bridge to Terabithia She has also been added to the cast of Jumper she will play Young Millie. she also plays 'Tara' in Sleepwalking. She will also appear in Race to Witch Mountain set for 2009.
You might say that Annasophia has danced her way to the movies, since she started by excelling equally well in jazz, hip-hop, break-dancing, and the Irish jig. But, she's also pretty terrific at swimming, skiing, running, and modeling. And when she's not working with animals, she's telling jokes and doing a bit of singing.
