Mini-Biography
Austin Macdonald (Auzzy MacDonald) was born on July 17, 1995 in Ontario, Canada and currently lives in Toronto. Austin started acting about the age of 8 when he saw his sister on TV. She is 23 and was on electric circus on Much Music out of Toronto. Before that he did do some catalogue modeling when he was a toddler.
On TV he has made appearances on The Doodlebops, ReGenesis and M.V.P.(aka MVP: The Secret Lives of Hockey Wives)as well as a role in the 2008 Celine Dion biopic Céline. He played 'Andy' in the TV movie Roxy Hunter and the Secret of the Shaman which now continues as 14 episode mini-series with four episodes each year. Roxy Hunter has a clothes line, books and DVD’s.
His feature films includes The Kids Table (2004) as 'Corey', The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio, Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer and Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. For a complete resume go here to see his other work including numerous commercials.
He also did a public service announcement for anti bullying and it has become a great cause for him in which he speaks out about regularly. He was finalist for the Mac performing arts awards 2 years in a row 06/07. He doesn’t have a G/F as he is so focused on school, acting and his martial arts. He gets about 80% in school . He has a miniature yorkie named Straussy and a gecko lizard named Sara. He loves Video games too!!
Austin has blue eyes and is probably one of the most humble people you’ll ever meet. He is very shy and loves skateboarding. His favourite thing though is XSD and Krav Maga. He is level 2 in Krav Maga. XSD is extreme skill development. It is all forms of martial arts with dance included. It is a program developed by Chris Mark one of Canada’s best Stunt men in Martial arts. Austin is learning how to fall off buildings and do his own fight scenes. If you go to youtube and put in Miraus you will find alot of videos of Austin doing Krav and XSD. He trains with Dean Armstrong at Armstrong acting studios who is also Miley Cyrus’s acting coach.
