Has the Walking Dead jumped the shark? A once great show is now merely ok and often mediocre. With the conclusion of the seventh season, we have to wait for season eight for the start of the war with Negan and the saviors. So after Negan and the saviors are taken care of where does the show go from here? I guess readers of the comic series have an idea but to its credit, the show doesn't always follow that by the letter.I suppose some other group with a maniacal leader is on the horizon but how long can viewers put up with this same plot line over and over. The group oppresses our heroes and are ultimately defeated, how many more time do we need to see Rick beaten down and then come back with a fury? How many times to see Daryl and carol go into a sulk and then come out of it? How many cares anymore about these characters? I suggest the best characters are long dead with the last two being Glen and Sgt Abraham. Who cares what happens to Tara or Rosita or Eugene the coward? The Walking Dead was great television in season one and the much maligned season 2 in my opinion was not that bad, for me I started losing interest in season 5 right after episode 3 and since then it has been ups and downs but mostly downs.I think the walking dead lost steam a long time ago and is limping along now because the numbers are still good, there are some who can’t get enough I guess and are happy to watch same plot events over and over.

Actor Anton Yelchin has died at age 27 after a freak auto accident at his home, it seems that he was accidently pinned by his car after he exited it and it appears to have rolled back and pinned the young actor. Anton was a fan fav here in the early days of this fan site when he was starring in such films as the 2001 releases of “Along Came a Spider” as Dimitri Starodubov next to Morgan Freeman and alongside another giant in the field in Anthony Hopkins when he played Bobby Deerfield in the excellent “Hearts in Atlantis.” Born in Leningrad in the former Soviet Union, Yelchin and his family immigrated to the United States when he was just six months old. His parents were both star figure skaters. He began acting at an early age, starting his career off as a 9 year-old. The then child actor impressed critics and audiences with a series of prominent roles as in the mentioned films and more. Always admired this talented actor and grew up watching him and he was well on his way to the top, he will be seen next in the upcoming “Star Trek Beyond” where he has played the role of Chekov in the rebooted film series. Other completed films and in post-production includes “Rememory,” “We Don't Belong Here,” “Porto” and “Thoroughbred.” Sincerest condolences to Anton’s family and friends and we as fans are sadden by the loss of this talented young man.

It is now day four since he had been bitten on the left arm by one of them, those unholy walking dead creatures. It is also now over three years since all things went to hell and the dead started to walk again and seek the flesh of humans. Four days ago they were set upon suddenly by two of them and in the fight he was bitten on the arm, he immediately thought it was the end of him and he almost put a bullet in his brain, he decided to wait, he did not get a fever and now four days later the bite has started to heal. The rest of the group still keeping a distance watches him suspiciously, still ready for anything. “look, it has been 4 days and I am not sick no fever, nothing, I am either immune or something has changed and mutated over the years.” The dead had also mutated from walking rotting flesh to now something that more closely resembles a demon, we call those mutated ones hybrids. They no longer are rotting flesh but seem to be a completely diff creature, something from one of the many horror films he used to watch when there was movies, electricity and a movie industry, but that is all gone. The group now had to shify there weariness from Michael because coming through the forest was that now familiar groan as a pack of the dead seem to be heading directly towards them……….. Gearing up for the production of his latest play, Broadway director Arnold Albertson (Owen Wilson) arrives in New York City ahead of his family and treats himself to a one-night stand with spunky, charismatic Brooklynite Izzy (Imogen Poots). Assuming they'll go their separate ways and never meet again, they're both shocked when she walks in to audition for a role in the play alongside his actress wife Delta (Kathryn Hahn) and nails her audition so well that he has no choice but to cast her. If that didn't make rehearsals awkward enough, the play's leading man (Rhys Ifans) is Delta's former flame who is not-so-secretly still in love with her - and is also in the unique position of having witnessed Arnold's indiscretion with Izzy. Izzy looks for guidance from her therapist Jane (Jennifer Aniston), a sarcastic narcissist who may well be the worst therapist on the planet, but she's no help as she's consumed with her own failing relationship with Arnold's playwright Josh (Will Forte), a nice guy who's developing a crush on starlet Izzy. The expression "the show must go on" gets put to the ultimate test as this tangled web of characters and the objects of their affection unravels in this outrageous comedy from director Peter Bogdanovich. She’s Funny That Way (Clarius Entertainment) - Release: 05/01/2015

Today, 1 in 6 American teenagers has permanent hearing loss due to high-volume sounds. Sporting events, concerts, headphones, and hairdryers can damage kids' hearing in a matter of seconds. Noise-induced hearing loss is permanent, but preventable. Listen Carefully is Starkey Hearing Foundation's awareness campaign to spread the message about noise-induced hearing loss and prevent a hearing loss epidemic. Starkey Hearing Foundation is an international nonprofit that gives the gift of hearing to those in need around the world. Last year they donated 175,000 hearing aids in nearly 40 countries, including the United States. Listen Carefully is hosting a national video contest inviting U.S. middle school and high school students (ages 13-18) from across the country to submit PSAs to help educate their peers about the issue. One lucky student(s) will win the chance to have Interscope Grammy-Nominated Recording  artist Aloe Blacc perform a private concert at their school in Spring 2015. Disney star Caroline Sunshine, who suffers from hearing loss, and Chris & Kyle Massey want you to participate. Submissions will be accepted until December 31; voting will take place between January 13 and 31, 2015, with the winner announced in February. You can learn more at: Video Contest

Cameron Boyce is the newest Disney sensation that tweens across the country can’t get enough of. Between 2013 and 2014 he even provided the voice of the title character Jake in the original Disney show series Jake And The Never Land Pirates. Not content simply to act and do voice over work he also belongs to a breakdancing crew called “X Mob.” 2008 brought the TV debut of Cameron Boyce in a music video of Panic At The Disco. He was also featured as a younger version of Ryan Ross’s character in That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed.) By 2009 he was featured in a commercial for Burger King. The commercial was to advertise the kid’s meal toys promoting the Transformers movie Revenge Of The Fallen. 2010 saw Cameron playing the part of the spoiled child of Adam Sandler in Grownups. In 2010 he also made an appearance on a dance show called The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers. The next year he first appeared in a guest starring role on the TV show Good Luck Charlie, airing on the Disney channel as well. The same year he also played a small part in the movie Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer. Fans may also recognize him from 2011’s Shake It Up, a dance show also airing on the Disney channel. It was in September of 2011 that he was cast to play the role of Jesse in Jake And The Never Land Pirates. The character of Jesse was first envisioned as being a Korean boy adopted by the family in the show, but when Cameron Boyce auditioned the producers fell in love with him for the roll of Jake. They recreated the part of Jake so that Cameron would fit the bill. Upcoming for Cameron is the Disney TV movie “Descendants” where he plays Carlos and a film in the early stages by the name of Bare Knuckle Days,  it is still too early to know if the film will actually be completed. The story of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Minions begins at the dawn of time.  Starting as single-celled yellow organisms, Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters.  Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters—from T. rex to Napoleon—the Minions find themselves without someone to serve and fall into a deep depression. But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he—alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob—ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow. The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award® winner Sandra Bullock), the world’s first-ever female super-villain.  They travel from frigid Antarctica to 1960s New York City, ending in mod London, where they must face their biggest challenge to date: saving all of Minionkind...from annihilation. Featuring a soundtrack of hit music from the ’60s that still permeates our culture today, Minions is produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, and is directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda.  Brian Lynch has written the screenplay for the 3D-CG comedy adventure, and Chris Renaud serves as executive producer of the film.  www.minionnation.net   Watch Minions Trailer   Genre:                            3D-CG comedy adventure                       Cast:                               Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm Directed by:                    Pierre Coffin & Kyle Balda Writer:                             Brian Lynch Produced by:                    Chris Meledandri, Janet Healy Executive Producer:          Chris Renaud
