Devon Alan
Devon Alan was born July 7 1991 in Los Angeles, California. At the age of six he appeared
in the feature film Simon Birch and his acting career was off and running. His other work
in features includes Beneath Loch Ness in 2001 and Throttle in 2002. The next year he was
cast in the lead role in It's Better to be Wanted for Murder Than Not to Be Wanted at All,
a Fox film, for which he received a Young Artists Award nomination for "Best Performance
in a Short Film".
At only 11, he was cast from a nationwide search to play a lead role as Tim Munn in the thriller
Undertow.
He also starred in The Iris Effect, a mystery/thriller, where Devon flew to
St. Petersburg, Russia, to film a lead role, as a young artist who is homeless and lives on
the streets. He leads an American woman, Anne Archer, throughout Russia to find her artist
son, who ran away from home as a teenager.
Devon has appeared in several made for television movies, including playing the role of
Reba McEntire's son, "Toby", in the CBS movie special, Secret of Giving, also, playing
"Young Scott" in Missing Pieces and then the role of "Max" in Steven King's miniseries,
Firestarter 2: Rekindled, where he played a "telekinetic" boy who could move objects with
his mind.
He has made guest appearnces on the series ER playing "Kyle McCormick" in episode:

Devon has done several commercials, including one for anti-smoking.
His most recent television guest starring appearance was playing "Ethan Archer" in the
episode "Leap of Faith" for the series Blind Justice, and Devon again was outstanding.
When not working, Devon is an avid video game player, loves snow skiing, jet skiing,
running track, and is soon to receive his black belt in Kanzen Budo Kai, a form of karate.
