    • It is mean polls like that, why not the best Disney actors, I also feel you should not be a critic of child/teen actors like you would an adult but these young actors get roasted by mostly adults all over the net.

Hollywood can be a dream maker, but more often than not, it’s a dream breaker.

The pressures put on child stars are enormous, and not all child actors can handle the stress, particularly if they don’t have the loving support of a sane family.

Unfortunately, bright lights, fame and fortune sometimes come at a high price for such young blood.

Here are some of those tragic young souls who lost their way, and in some cases, found their way back, in the midst of the crazy that is Tinsel Town.

Quite something. Glad to see WatchMojo explain it all.

I agree with much of what was said in the video, good post Trevor.

Cool. I will admit with most here that the current crop of child actors are better at handling the pressures but 2015 did give us some bad news moments. There was Justin Bieber again making a buffoon of himself. He'll be a has-been by the time he hits 25. There was the suicide of Sawyer Sweeten and there was Billy Unger suing his father. Sure the problems aren't as big or as common as they were 25 years ago but they still happen. Besides the scandals former Disney stars encounter reinforce my belief that the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

LOL so true, I agree with a lot in the video but I also agree with the comment the later crew of young stars are more stable. It all boils down to parenting.

Nice to see you still drop by with some good content Trevor, I like this one better it has some good points.

That said the only diff bwteen a child star turn teen/adult might be they have more money to spend was exposed to party scene the hanger on's etc.

I do agree with one comment here it seems to be getting less we do not hear as much about last crop of child/teen stars.

I agree. I notice most of the young stars that go whacko are mostly the young music stars. There are a lot of young actors that turn out fine. Haley may have had a DUI almost 10 years ago-- was it that long ago?-- but nothing since. Daniel Radcliffe had an alcohol issue at 20 but he didn't make a spectacle of himself the way Britney did. I think the best thing a child actor can do is avaoid Disey at all costs and they'll turn out fine!

    • Don't let those who went off the rails put a bad light on the many that were just fine.

    • It is changing it seems, Child stars lately like in 2000 seem to be not like years back.

I cant think of any child stars of early 2000's late 90's that are wrecks but I might be wrong.

    • I am a huge fan of Sir Christopher Lee, I have a huge collection of his films. I especialy love the team ups with Peter Cushing and at other time Vincent Price. I relaly loved the few movies that all three appeared together.

    • Very sad to hear the news, I checked IMDB and I am shocked how many credits he has. I say he was the best Dracula none of these modern day could bring the fright he did to others at those times.

      RIP

    • Good post mate, Mr. Lee has been in so many movies and guest on TV shows. I have seen all the movies that he was in as Dracula.

When I was like 8 and 9 I watched first one and was scared to death. lol

    • June 11, 2015 5:56 PM EDT
    • Very sad to hear but he lived a very long life, he was the first person I saw as kid playing Dracula and he scared the heck out of me.

      RIP.

    • With the death of Christopher Lee(93),an erra has now realy ended.
He was, together with Vincent Price and Peter Cushing, one of the faces of Horror in the 60's and 70's.
Christopher Lee is most known for his role in Dracula but he had many faces.
His voice was an excelent singing voice as you can hear.

In his last years next to filming for The Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit he had his own metal band.
Christopher was also a regular guest singer on the the cd's of Rhapsody of Fire, the same band you have heared on my JD story.

For the younger members here he was also known as Count Dooku in Star Wars.
Christopher joined his two friends Vincent Price and Peter Cushing in the 1983 movie House of long shadows.
A Horror parody in a manor, the voice over is Vincent Price.

Also known is that he was a big fan of the Lord Of The Rings Books.
He was member of honor of the fanclub and he always had said when they make a movie of it i want to be in it.
And he played his role as Saruman at his best.
He had mixed some of Dracula in that role to show Saruman was a man not to to be trusted.
Christopher Lee was a versatile man, singing in Opera, playing an evil creature,an dangerous enemy against James Bond,a scientist in Gremlins2:The new batch.

      Christopher Lee (1922-2015).
      R.I.P.
