  WHY? that is the question why remake this and it is almost scene for scene? cash grab rent the old version.

  I will say the two kids were good.

  Poltergest is not a bad movie, the only proble as you stated was that if you saw the original then as you watched this you are loking at just an updated version of the same thing. I agree it was almost scene for scene, I would say it was a needless remake. The child acxtors were very good I also agree with that.

  Poltergeist was not that bad but yea seen the old one there were no surpeises.

  It was ok but kind of a pointless remake as they lmost did it scene for scene as someone mentioned. I still enjoed it but I prefer the original by a wide margin.

  Poltergeist from the 80's was better, I thought it was scarier.
