  It was reported in error earlier today by CBS news that legendary musician Tom Petty had passed, seems that right now as of Monday Oct 2 at 10:20PM I am not sure.What we are sure of is that he was found unresponsive and apparently was on life support, some are now claiming he was taken of and is clinging to life so I don;t know.What I do know is that I loved his music he was big from the 70;s but I only got into his music when I was about 14 I heard Damn the Torpedoes CD and loved it.

  There was some confusion a bit yesterday but it is true, RIP Tom I love your music and that oldie album Damn the Torpedoes all music lovers should listen to that.

  He is awesom if you like classic music from 70's and 80's, if you read up he was very popular.

  Very sad, my dad listens to Tom Petty music as he is a big fan of classic rock.

  I am a teen and I love classic rock like Petty etc, makes todays electronic autotune stuff look like the crap it is.
