RIP Gord Downie

  Sadly Gord Downie the lead singer of the excellent Canadian band The Tragically Hip has died at the age of 53 after his courageous battle with brain cancer.

  Sadly I do not know that band here in my country but 53 is so young.

  Very sad news, the Hip with Gord made some good music, if you have not heard give a listen and you will agree.

  What a talent, what a band, so much great music I am a big fan. I was so down when I first herad the diagnosis and here is Mr.Downie up to just about 2 months ago did a concert at Toronto's ACC. What strength.

  Very sad indeed I love the Hip, so sad to hear that death has taken Gord from us, but his music lives on.

  So sad, even though that sad day was expected it is still rough, we just love Gord and the Hip here in Canada.
