Good to be optimistic but it is very unlikely and it all comes down to money now I believe the reason this show is canceled is all about money as I think it was a costly show to produce because everything is so authentic looking.
Why I said money is what other reason would this be canceled it was highly rated has a huge core of fans worldwide, now Netflix and CBC are not going to just say ok here you go Disney + or whatever continue the show, they would have to pay a hefty sum I would think.
Another show could easily produce another version of Anne as we know there have been many but this version and these characters here are highly copyrighted, not that they can't have another Anne but not one based exactly on these characters such as Billy as an example.
