Mini-Biography
Jesse James was born September 14, 1989 in Palm Springs, California and has starred in quality projects and worked opposite some of the industry's most talented and respected veterans. He made his feature film debut in As Good as it Gets, then went on to play Kenneth Branagh's son in The Gingerbread man.
Other earlier projects included 1999's A Dog of Flanders and Message in a Bottle. He then went on to appear in the films Hanging Up, Blow, Pearl Harbor and Fear of the Dark. In 2002 he played 'Randolph Grady' in Slap Her... She's French and the violent 'Young Tommy Miller" in The Butterfly Effect. He was 'Billy Lutz' in The Amityville Horror and 'J-Dawg' in The Darkroom, up-coming movies for 2008 are Sky Kids and Jumper.
He has made guest starring roles in several television series including Walker,Texas Ranger, Angel, Felicity, Family Law, and the ABC movie Bailey's Mistake. More recent tv guest appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and the series Monk. In 2007 he played 'Andrew' in the tv film Company Man and guest starred on the series Veronica Mars.
Started playing guitar when he was 14 and is a heavy listener and admirer of classic rock bands, such as The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Has extensive knowledge and a deep admiration for the punk music movement of the late 1970's. He regards The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, and The Clash to be three of his favorite bands.
