Keir Gilchrist
Keir David Peters Gilchrist is a British/American actor currently living in Canada. He
was born in London, England the 28th September 1992, and is notable for portraying
'Josh McKellar' in FOX's short-lived sitcom The Winner who since his mother, Josh a
smart and lanky teenager, has become more quiet and reserved. However, when he and his
mother move to Albany, Josh quickly forms a bond with his new neighbor, Glen Abbott.
His family relocated to Boston, but eventually settled down in Toronto, Canada. Gilchrist
discovered his passion for acting when he was still quite young, but it was his acting
coach who urged him to start working professionally. His television projects include
guest appearances on Queer as Folk,
Missing, Doc,
and ReGenesis and a recurring role on
Life with Derek. Keir also played 'Marshall" in the series The United States of Tara.
His film credits include The Waldo Cumberbund Story, Horsie’s Retreat,
A Lobster Tale, Saint Ralph and Dead Silence.
keir also appeared in the 2008 release of The Rocker where he plays 'Moby Kid' and
The Egg Factory where he plays Matthew Hanson a kid genius and his estranged uncle who team
up to save a girl from danger. He also apears in the comedy Just Peck (2009).
He also plays 'Snit' in George Ryga's Hungry Hills (2009) and also stars in
It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010). He will also star in
Matty Hanson and the Invisibility Ray(2011).
