Chandler Riggs (b-June 27, 1999) is best known for playing the role of Carl Grimes on the AMC series The Walking Dead from 2010 to 2018. He played the son of Police officer Rick Grimes who leads a group of survivors in a world overrun by zombies. Just 11 years old at the start of the series we watched Carl mature and take on a more responsible role with the group of survivors through to his final appearances in season 8.

Chandler also played Ryan Gregory (age 7) in the 2010 made for TV film "The Wronged Man" and also appeared in the feature "Get Low" as Tom. Chandler also appeared in the supernatural thriller Mercy (2014) based on a short story by Stephen King, it also stars Super 8’s Joel Courtney, he has also appeared in "Keep Watching" (2017) where a family is imprisoned in their home by intruders who play a life-and-death game. Chandler also was the voice of Carl Grimes on an episode of "Robot Chicken" (2017).

With his run on The Walking Dead coming to an end he moves on to the feature "Inherit the Viper" (2018), a crime thriller about three siblings in Appalachia getting by as local opioids dealers, trying not to get caught in the spiral of violence that comes with the territory. He is also listed in the cast of "Only" (2019) playing Casey. he also returned to TV playing Patrick 'PJ' Nelson in the series A Million Little Things.

He made his professional stage debut at the age of eight with Theater of the Stars at Atlanta's Fox Theater in The Wizard of Oz, followed by Oklahoma and several commercial credits.

A native of Atlanta, GA., Chandler enjoys playing drums, video games, reading and tap dancing. He has a younger brother named Grayson.
