Mark Rendall Mini Bio
It was just a few years ago that, literally out of the blue, Mark innocently asked his
parents if he could try his hand at acting. Coincidentally enough, at around the same time,
the Cameron MacIntosh London Touring Company production of the hit stage musical "Oliver"
was holding open auditions for children. Mark's parents took him to the auditions, all the
while making sure they prepared him for disappointment, as he had absolutely no acting or
singing training. To everyone's utter surprise and delight, Mark not only won the role of
"Spider", one of Fagin's gang of motley pickpockets, but also ended up regularly
performing the lead role of Oliver as the understudy.

Mark says he loves acting because "it’s fun," and "I get to pretend to be other people."
He definitely wants to be an actor when he grows up, no ifs and buts. Off stage and away
from the cameras, Mark is an average Canadian boy who plays baseball, soccer and golf in
the summer and skis and plays hockey in the winter. He also takes karate and drum lessons.

Mark has appeared a wide variety of movie and TV roles over the past few years, including
leads in the film The Impossible Elephant; Hallmark's Tales From the Neverending Story,
for which Mark received a 2002 Gemini nomination; the multi--winning Touching Wild Horses
opposite Jane Seymour, for which Mark received a 2003 Young Artists nomination; Disney
Channel's Scream Team, The (2002) (TV) opposite Eric Idle, Kathy Najimy and
Tommy Davidson; Court TV's emotional, Peabody -winning true story,
Interrogation of Michael Crowe, The for which Mark received an 2004 ACTRA nomination for
Best Actor; Different Loyalty, A (2003), playing the son of Rupert Everett and
Sharon Stone; and the Don McKellar black comedy Childstar (2004), and the 2006
release of Arthur, The Movie as the voice of Arthur.

Since Childstar he has been busy and has appeared in Spirit Bear: The Simon Jackson Story
a made for television film, he also appeared in the series ReGenesis and is also in
another series Revelations. Mark also played "Chris" in Life After, and was the voice of
