Mini-Biography
Max Thieriot was born on the 14th of October 1988 in Los Altos Hills, California, he started acting when he took an improvisation class and modeled for GAP and was on their posters he then did 2 short independent films from USC. His first motion picture role was that of "Gus" in the kids caper film Catch that Kid which opened in 2004, it also starred Kristen Stewart and Corbin Bleu. The film is a remake of the Danish blockbuster "Klatretosen," CATCH THAT GIRL. Max said his favorite scene was the go-cart scenes the entire go-cart track was made for the movie by set workers in a parking lot in Valencia (near L.A.).
In his second film Max appeared with Vin Diesel in The Pacifier about an undercover agent who, after failing to protect an important government scientist, learns the man's family is in danger. In an effort to redeem himself, he agrees to take care of the man's children only to discover that child care is his toughest mission yet.
Max also recently played the role of "Shepard Farmer" in the 2007 release of The Astronaut Farmer the film also stars Bruce Dern and Billy Bob Thornton and Warner's Nancy Drew where Max played Nancy's boy friend. For 2008 he played 'Young Davey' in Jumper along with Samuel L.Jackson and 'Will' in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. Max also will play 'Bug' in the thriller 25/8 (2009) and 'Eric Burnett' in the Comedy Driving Lessons (2009).
Max enjoy basketball, wrestling, surfing and snowboarding in his spare time and lists Johnny Depp as his favorite actor.
