Michael William Arnold
In 2010, Michael made his feature film debut as Young Reese for 20th Century Fox's
global blockbuster My Name Is Khan (playing the younger version of Kenton Duty)
and has his breakout role in the independent dramedy Spork as Charlie (winner Best
Feature of the Tribeca Virtual Film Festival). Charlie is a loner with two dads
with effeminate traits and confused sexuality who becomes the love interest of
Spork (Savannah Stehlin). Spork is anticipated to have its theatrical release in
2010-2011. Michael also appeared in an ABC FAMILY television
movie..THE DOG WHO SAVED CHRISTMAS VACATION with Michael as the annoying, menancing
cousin Zach. Michael was nominated for a Young Artist Award (2010) for Weird Al's Brain in 3D
and again in 2011 for BEST PERFORMANCE IN A FEATURE FILM Supporting Young Actor Ten and Under
for My Name is Khan.
Michael is a star on the rise with many talents to showcase with a great smile
and open personality. He is often complimented by directors for being comfortable
in his own skin and willing to take risks!. Additionally, he is the lead vocalist
and hip hop dancer for an ongoing boy performance group, performing in many onstage
productions including the National Tour of Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
at the Pantages Theater, completing new short films (Fiddler in the Darkness,
My Education, Kids for Kidnapping) and writes his own music.
His hobbies are basketball, football, skateboarding, video games and reading. He attends regular
public school and is a proud member of Student Council and loves to participate
in charity events particularly those for people affected by bullying, cancer,
homelessness, mental illness and AIDS.
