Dixie Egerickx is a British teen actress who was born on October 31, 2005, in England as Dixie Violet Egerickx.  She started her career off playing Young Sarah in the 2016 TV movie "Churchill's Secret" and has since gone on to accumulate an impressive resume and being named as a Screen International 'Star of Tomorrow' 2019.

At the age of eight, Kate Bone of Nina Gold Casting visited her school, looking for the young girl talent to play the lead role in Steven Spielberg’s "The BFG."  Dixie lost out on that role but was asked if she would like to try for future roles and the rest is now history.

After her role in Churchill’s Secret, the next year saw her in none less than five roles such as the TV movies "A Royal Winter" and "The Watcher in the Woods" along with a role in the series "Genius," the short "The Wyrd" and the feature "National Theatre Live: Young Marx."

The year 2018 saw Egerickx appear in the TV mini-series "Patrick Melrose," the short "Mirette" for which she Learned to walk the high wire at eleven years old to play the title role. She also played Gillian Baker-Hyde in the feature film "The Little Stranger."

Dixie has also filmed an Unaired Game of Thrones Prequel Pilot and played Edie in "Summerland" (2020). A big role sees her playing Mary Lennox in "The Secret Garden" which stars  Colin Firth, Julie Walters and Dixie Egerickx, it is a new take on the beloved classic novel of the same name written by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
