Emjay Anthony was born on June 1, 2003, in Clearwater Beach Florida. Emjay started his career modeling and did a Werther's Candy national commercial at the age of 4.
After his family moved to California he auditioned for and landed the role of Alec Baldwin's stepson, Pedro in "It's Complicated" which also starred starring Meryl Steep. He then took some time off to catch up on his schooling.
At the end of 2010, he once again started to do auditions and booked several national commercials. He also played Sam in the TV film "Applebaum", starring Rachelle Lafevre, from the Twilight series and Rhys Coiro and the TV series "Rake" in 2014 where he plays the eldest of three children. Emjay also appeared in an episode of "Grey's Anatomy" and "The Mentalist." Emjay also appeared in the TV movies "Members Only" (2015) and Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal: The Movie (2016). Emjay will also play Theo Perry in the pilot of the series Council of Dads.
He also played Dean in "No Ordinary Hero: The SuperDeafy Movie" (2013) where a deaf actor who plays a superhero on a TV show must look beyond the cape to inspire a deaf boy to believe in himself. For 2014 he appeared as Percy in the feature film Chef along with Jon Favreau, John Leguizamo, and Bobby Cannavale.
Emjay struck it big for 2015 with the role of Hector in Insurgent , he also went on to be the voice of Gray in "The Jungle Book" (2015) and also appeared in the features "Krampus" (2015) and plays Jake in "Incarnate" (2016), Dylan in "Bad Moms" (2016), "Replicas" (2018) as Matt Foster and reprising his role as Dylan in "A Bad Mom's Christmas" (2017).
Emjay enjoys playing airsoft, riding his dirt bike and his BMX bike with his dad when he is not working or schooling.
