Jade Pettyjohn is a teen actress who was born on November 8, 2000, she might be best known for her role of McKenna Brooks in the film “McKenna Shoots for the Stars.” She kicked off her professional acting career with a role in the TV series "The Mentalist" and has since guest-starred and has been a regular on many television series.

After her guest spot on "The Mentalist", she landed a recurring role on the series “United States of Tara.” This was followed by appearances on “The Cape” (2011), "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior" (2011), “Grimm” (2012), and “Revolution” (2012). Jade then went on to prominent roles in the series “The Last Ship” (2014), “Henry Danger” (2014), and then as Summer on “The School of Rock” (2016). Jade also starred in the TV movie "All I Want for Christmas,"  "Rufus-2" and Nickelodeon's Sizzling Summer Camp Special both in 2017. The same year she appeared on the series Whisker Haven Tales with the Palace Pets and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. Jade will also be seen in the TV movies L.A. Confidential (2018), "Kansas City" as Clarissa, and "Deadwood."

Jade has also appeared in the series Middle School Moguls (2019), The Righteous Gemstones and for 2020 the Netflix mini-series Little Fires Everywhere where she plays Lexie Richardson.

After McKenna Shoots for the Stars, she has also to her credit the films “Dakota's Summer” (2014), “Kill the King” (2015), “Girl Flu” (2016). Her other feature film includes "Trial by Fire" (2018/1), "Destroyer" (2018), and "Seberg" (2019).

Jade has also appeared in short films such as "S.H.M.I.L.U.," “Stranger,” “Prodigal” and "Flesh and Blood and Bone" (2016).
