Jake T. Austin (born Jake Toranzo Szymanski on December 3, 1994) in New York, New York, he currently stars in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place as Max Russo the youngest of the Russo who is always up for a practical joke.

Austin also performs the voice for Diego, the lead character in the Dora the Explorer spinoff, Go, Diego, Go! He has also provided voices for the animated movies The Ant Bully and Everyone's Hero, and appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board. He also played CJ for the failed pilot A.K.A. (2006). He guest starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the 2012 episode (Home Invasions). Jake also starred in the TV movie Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie (20009) and a sequel "The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex" (2013), he is also a series regular on The Fosters.

Austin also appeared in The Perfect Game, a sports drama about a little league team from Mexico, who become the first non-US team to win the little league world series. He also played Bruce in Hotel for Dogs (2009). He will appear in the 2011 films Rio as Fernando, New Year's Eve and Granted;Campfire Stories 2 playing the role of Innez. Continuing the switch to movies he plays 'Huck' in Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn (2014) as well as lead in Grantham & Rose (2014 and is rumored to be the voice of 'Fernando' in "Rio 2." Also watch for Jake as Khumba in the film of the same name.

Has a sister Ava, along with two dogs Bogey and Beju, his favorite actors are Robert Downey Jr., Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Sean Penn, and Clifton Collins Jr.. Marlin Brando, Jim Carrey, Matt Damon, and Robin Williams.

Austin says his favorite hobby is doing accents and list his favorite music ss rock. and wants to direct movies when he's older. His favorite sports are snowboarding, surfing, basketball, football, and soccer.
