Tyree Alexander Malik Brown was born on January 9, 2004, in Sacramento, California. He started modeling at the age of 3 and booked his first job just two weeks after meeting with an agent, doing several print ads and some radio spots.
At the age of five, he landed the role of Jabbar Trussell on the series “Parenthood” in a guest role but later went on to be a series regular for 102 episodes of the popular series. He has since has worked on the series “Mr. Box Office” (2013), “The First Family” (2013), “NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service” and “Mack & Moxy” (2016) and"Criminal Minds" (2016). He also appeared in the TV movie “Only Human” as Brendan in 2015.
Tyree has provided voice work for the animated films “Monsters University” (2013) and “Frozen” (2013). He also played Mike in “Operation: Neighborhood Watch!” and Firefly in “Camp Cool Kids” (2017). Tyree also completed the short "Knight Righters" (2018) and is listed to play Jonathan in
One Nation Under God and Cornel Martin in
My Brothers' Crossing.
