Mini-Biography
Taylor Momsen was born in St.Louis on July 26 1993, she began her career at the age of three, appearing in a "shake N' Bake" commercial. Her first roles were a guest starring spot on Early Edition, and a role in the feature film Prophet's Game with Dennis Hopper. Her big break came with the Jim Carey's vehicle How the Grinch Stole Christmas where she played Cindy Lou Who. Before she auditioned for The Grinch, she had never read the book or seen the cartoon. The year 2002 was a busy one for Taylor as she appeared in 3 feature films including the Spy Kids sequel Island of Lost Dreams, We Were Soldiers and the movie version of the kids fairy tale Hansel & Gretel.
Taylor played the role of "Hopper Watson" in the pilot for the proposed series for 2006 titled Misconceptions, which seems to have not made the grade. She is also in the cast for the series Gossip Girl playing 'Jenny Humphrey'. Taylor played 'Samantha Wallace'in the feature film Saving Shiloh and has for 2007 Doubting Thomas playing "Madison", she also plays "Molly" in Underdog and "Jennifer" in Paranoid park.
