Macaulay Culkin

Child actor who vaulted into the limelight through the blockbuster movie, Home Alone (1990), which pitted Culkin's clever Kevin McCallister against bumbling crooks played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. Following the commercial success of the original movie, Culkin found fame and fortune in a sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) and other films, but his screen success has more recently been overshadowed by legal and financial problems involving his parents. In 1998 at age 17 he married stage actress Rachel Miner, also 17. They were separated in 2000. Branching into stage performance, Culkin appeared to good reviews in a theater production of Madame Melville in London.


Elijah Wood

Wood enrolled in modeling school in 1988 and had small roles in Back to the Future, Part II (1989) and Internal Affairs (1990) before gaining notice in 1990's Avalon. His other movies include Paradise (1991), The Good Son (1993), North (1994), The Ice Storm (1997), and Deep Impact (1998). He bagged the starring role of Frodo in the epic Lord of the Rings trilogy (2000–2001).


Alyssa Milano

With roles in such films as Fear (1996), Public Enemy No. 1 (HBO, 1996), and Hugo Pool (1997; directed by Robert Downey, Sr.), and in the television series Melrose Place (1997–98) and Charmed (1998–), Alyssa Milano has accomplished what many former child actors and actresses have not—made the transition from child to adult star. From 1984 to 1992 Milano appeared with Tony Danza and Judith Light in the situation comedy Who's the Boss? After Boss's run, she struggled against the perception of her as a little girl. Taking on the role of Amy Fisher in CBS television's Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story helped her to rid herself of the image, however, and she is now engaged in more grown-up fare.
