Tyler J. Williams
Tyler James Williams was born on the 9th of October 1992, Westchester County, New York,
he hit it big with the role of Chris, a responsible, resilient teen struggling to
keep his siblings in line at home while facing a new neighborhood and new school, in
the comedy Everbody hates Chris.
Williams began his acting career at the age of 4 on Sesame Street, appearing as a season
regular for several years. Later, he co-starred in Bill Cosby's animated Little Bill,
where he voiced the character of "Bobby." His other television credits include numerous
appearances in comedic skits on 'Saturday Night Live'. Other television appearances includes an
episode of Law & Order: SVU, The Cleaner (2009),
True Jackson, VP (2009) and voice work on the animated Batman: The Brave and the Bold (2010).
He was also seen in the 2010 made for TV Movie Our Show and guest starred on a 2011 episode of the hit series House.
Tyler appeared in the cast for the 2006 projects Ant Bully and Everyone's Hero he also
appeared uncredited as a Guest at party in the 2005 film Two for the Money.
Tyler also starred as "Charlie" in Unaccompanied Minors. For 2011 he plays
Simon Peeples in the Comedy We the Peeples.
Aside from acting, Williams enjoys basketball (especially the Miami Heat), piano, macaroni
and cheese and history. He lives in New York with his mom, dad, brothers Tylan and Tyrel,
and their Silky Terrier, "Benny 'Ruff-neck' Williams."
