His movie credits include Sex and Death 101 and the Gary Marshall film, Georgia Rule. He also appeared alongside Nicolas Cage in National Treasure: Book of Secrets as 'Lincoln Conspiracy Kid' and in 2008's The Brothers Bloom as 'Young Bloom' and as 'Frankie Fowler' in Lower Learning (2008).

Zachary also played 'Greg Heffley' in Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010). He also returned as Greg in the sequel Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules (2011) and watch for him in the film Norm of the North (2012) as well as the voice of "Paws" in the direct to video The Search for Santa Paws (2010) and the voice of Papi jr. in the direct to video Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 (2011).

Zachary has many voice-over credits including "Brad Spolyt" in The Chubbchubbs Save Xmas, "Dan San" in Nickelodeon's Ni Hao, Kai-Lan, and Mighty Bees. He is also a series regular as the voice of Gil, one of the lead roles in the Nickelodeon series, Bubble Guppies. He has also appeared in several commercials including McDonalds, Nintendo Wii and Pizza Hut.

Gordon loves Basketball and Swimming and list singing and dancing as some of his talent skills, he can break dance as well as dance Hip Hop. Zachary won the Young Artist Award in 2008 for Best Performance in a Feature Film - Supporting Young Actor - Comedy or Musical for his performance ion Georgia Rule.
