It is a shame there have to be video games like GTA 5, while the game developers claim the game is aimed at adults they very well know that many kids will get this game into their hands. I have heard stories of kids as young as 11 years old being bought this game by their parents, what kind of irresponsible parent would place such a game in the hand of a child? It is bad enough the endless hours they spend playing violent war type games but then we get a GTA with the sex and drugs thrown in with the violence. In my own experience and I am a teen I saw in the mall a parent buying the game for a kid that looked no more than 11 years old and you could see his excitement of wanting to get home as fast as possible and get it in to his video game console. Look as a teen I freely admit to playing the war theme games but I can freely place a barrier between reality and fantasy but I have known many other games kids who are unable to and for this I say the gaming industry is very irresponsible with games such as GTA 5, but then again the real burden should be on parents who provide access to games like this.

Academy Award® winner Angelina Jolie directs and produces Unbroken, an epic drama that follows the incredible life of Olympian and war hero Louis “Louie” Zamperini (Jack O’Connell) who, along with two other crewmen, survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash in WWII—only to be caught by the Japanese Navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp. Adapted from Laura Hillenbrand’s (“Seabiscuit: An American Legend”) enormously popular book, Unbroken brings to the big screen Zamperini’s unbelievable and inspiring true story about the resilient power of the human spirit. Starring alongside O’Connell are Domhnall Gleeson and Finn Wittrock as Phil and Mac—the airmen with whom Zamperini endured perilous weeks adrift in the open Pacific—Garrett Hedlund and John Magaro as fellow POWs who find an unexpected camaraderie during their internment, Alex Russell as Zamperini’s brother, Pete, and in his English-language feature debut, Japanese actor Miyavi as the brutal camp guard known only to the men as “The Bird.” The film is produced by Jolie, as well as Clayton Townsend (This Is 40), Matthew Baer (City by the Sea) and Erwin Stoff (The Day the Earth Stood Still). Leading the accomplished behind-the-scenes crew is 11-time Oscar®-nominated cinematographer Roger Deakins (Skyfall). Academy Award® winners Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country for Old Men) rewrote the screenplay from earlier drafts by William Nicholson (Les Misérables) and Richard LaGravenese (HBO’s Behind the Candelabra). Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare’s epic and searing tale of love, is revitalized on screen by writer Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey) and director Carlos Carlei (The Flight of the Innocent). An ageless story from the world’s most renowned author is reimagined for the 21st Century. This adaptation is told in the lush traditional setting it was written, but gives a new generation the chance to fall in love with the enduring legend. With an all-star cast including Hailee Steinfeld, Douglas Booth, Paul Giamatti and Stellan Skarsgard, it affords those unfamiliar with the tale the chance to put faces to the two names they’ve undoubtedly heard innumerable times: Romeo and Juliet. Every generation deserves to discover this lasting love. Photo - Hailee Steinfeld and Douglas Booth star in “ROMEO AND JULIET”. ©2013 R & J Releasing, Ltd. After four seasons and 101 episodes Disney Channel ended production of the hit series "Jessie." There will still be plenty to see of the young leads in spinoff series "Bunk"d," the show is toplined by original series’ stars Peyton List, Karan Brar and Skai Jackson who will reprise their roles as of Emma, Ravi and Zuri Ross, respectively. Meanwhile the popular Cameron Boyce was off to headline Disney XD’s new live-action comedy, “Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything.” Looking back over the four seasons Jessie has been bringing entertainment into the homes of Disney channel viewers. The show is full of antics and humor good for the entire family. The setting is in New York City where a small town girl, Debby Ryan who plays Jessie, comes from Texas to be the nanny of a high profile couple. The couple has 4 children who bring an array of personality into the mix. The oldest of the 4 children, Emma, played by Peyton List, is the only biological child of Ross family. The younger three are adopted from various areas of the world as well as from far different backgrounds. Luke Ross, who is played by Cameron Boyce, was born in Detroit. Ravi Ross, played by Karan Brar, was born in India and is the newest to the Ross family. Zuri Ross, played by Skai Jackson, is the families’ most sassy member adding lots of fun to the mix. The parents, Morgan and Christina Ross, make very few appearances throughout the series. Nanny Jessie and Butler Bertram end up being the primary caretakers of this exciting brood. You can often find Jessie lecturing the parents about spending more time with their children. She is a bit outspoken, which at first the family doesn’t care too much for. However, it grows on them and each new episode Jessie seems to bring the family closer together. You can also find the family chasing after Mrs. Kipling throughout most of the episodes; Mrs. Kipling is Ravi’s pet Asian water monitor lizard. From episode to episode, you watch Jessie and the family grow as new people. Jessie becomes more confident and able to handle city life, while offering a bit of country to those around here. Bringing in a bit of country allows the Ross family to slow down and really focus on what matters, which is each other. Jessie makes many mistakes along the way and their love for her keeps them from being too hard on her, and she gives the love right back. The best thing about the family is their love for one another. Even if they are busy cracking jokes on each other, or too busy to spend time with one another, when they are all together, it is as though they’ve never been apart. Part of their celebration as a family is celebrating “Gotcha Day.” This is the anniversary of each of the child’s adoption day. They celebrate it much like a birthday and the parents roll out the red carpet and retell their story of adoption each year. While things look like they may be a little crazy during each episode, there is always a lesson viewers can take away from it. With witty humor from both the adults and the children, all family members can relate to at least one of the characters in the show. Overall the show provides lessons, love and entertainment to all those who choose to watch the show.
