    • Love the Walking Dead, and I'm VERY excited about Season 3 (Especially as a fan of the comics, with the introduction of The Governor and all!) Ain't a fan of Lori (although Sarah Wayne Callies was great in Prison Break), but the Ricktatorship is going to make things interesting. Plus, Michonne can really kick some butt!

    • Well one of the hottest shows on the old tube is AMC’s The Walking Dead, so how you all enjoying season 3 so far? I won’t mention anything that contains spoilers and if anyone does in reply to this please use the spoiler marking to warn others.

I personally love it after that waste of a season 2, I swear the budget left with Frank Darabont.

Season 2 was more like Little House on the Prairie as they all decided to chill at Herschel’s farm where a walker seldom strolled by and all we got was a soap opera of the characters dismal lives like who cares.

I should have known with the lame season 2 opener, I thought in season one these walkers could small the living yet they hide under vehicles and the walkers strode by, and what is this with a walker who goes in a camper to check it out? And dumb Sophia runs off and even dumber Rick leaves her alone.

Well enough of boring season 2 this third is off to a rip roaring start so far with the introduction of the Governor and the laconic loner Michonne.

    • Complete and utter nonsense, this series will be gone in less than 10 episodes. It lost me when I saw people 15 years after the blackout in clean clothes that seems to be just off the shelf, well attired and groomed people. There is much more I could say but why bother, this show is a joke.

    • Agreed, it was one of the best adult westerns if you ask me, I am as I mentioned a huge fan of the old TV westerns and buy all the series I can on DVD and this is one of my favs.

Good western, and it did combine good family values of a single rancher caring for his son, but as it was the lawless wild west there had to be jarring violence when that winchester started to speak. lol

    • The Rifleman was a TV western from the era when the adult western dominated TV screens, it first ran from 1958 to 1963 and starred Chuck Connors as Lucas McCain a rancher raising his young son Mark played by Johnny Crawford. Other series regular was Paul Fix who played the sheriff 'Micah Torrance of North Fork, new Mexico.

I love westerns and I just discovered this a while back and I am catching every episode that I can, this is an extremely well made show with a lot of great family moments with some jarring violence simply because this is the Wild West.

McCain wields a customized Winchester rifle and the way he uses it is what absolutely glued me to the show, the opening title sequence I can't get enough of.

I highly recommend this if you like westerns and even if not for the great stories.
