The Walking Dead--Dawn of the Dead 1978

  • September 30, 2013 6:18 PM EDT

I have found a classic Zombie in The Walking Dead season 3,thats appeared also in Dawn of the Dead 1978.

Its in episode 15 'This sorrowful life' at time slot 00:29:55.

The Zombie wears a red blocked shirt.

That Zombie appeared in Dawn of the Dead 1978 at time slot 00:33:38.

Its a logic thing he is in The Walking Dead, cause Greg Nicotero is on board as Co-executive Producer and as Special Effects make-up man.

Greg was in 1985 the Special Effects make-up man on Day of the Dead.

Greg is also a good friend of George Romero.

He learned the trade on Special Effects from Tom Savini,a legend in the Horror movie world.

    How do i notice?

Well Dawn of the Dead is a movie i have seen a lots of time.

so i know it inside out.

    I have seen George's Romero's Director's cut of 140 mins.

And i have seen Dario Argento's European director's cut of 117 mins.

I have the soundtrack played by Goblin.

My dad bought years ago a rare japanese vinyl version of the soundtrack.

Price of it is now 500 Euro's and its still rising.

And no,i may not touch it.

And my dad got also the movie on VHS tape, that one was released by a special company called Cor Koppies, was also the name of the man who was the boss.

that tape is now worth 300 to 350 Euro's.

So if your parents have still VHS tapes dont throw them away, there can be valuable tapes in there.

I also like Dawn of the Dead that is in the shopping mall am I correct? I saw it a long time ago when my dad played it.

Yes that is in the mall, the original is much better then the remake.

    Remake is to fast,running Zombies.

That belongs to a comedy Zombie movie like Return of the living Dead 1 and 2.

Well Navy because a person uses Google search to verify and or get information that don't mean they are not knowledgeable on a subject.

Even teachers use it to check on facts, professionals in IT use it to get and verify info, there is nobody that knows everything the best pro still searches for some help on some matter.
