Jaden Smith will be kicking high once more as it has been announced the actor will reprise his role as Dre in the Karate Kid 2 along with Jackie Chan.
Four years after the release of the Karate Kid the news is out on what has been an anticipated sequel. It was announced that Breck Eisner would take over as the director for The Karate Kid 2.
There is no release date for The Karate Kid 2 and as expected it is simply in development mode.

I like the first movie and Jaden did good in my opinion I hope the next one is just as awesome. :)

I am not going to sit here and say I think Jaden Smith is a good actor but truth be told I think he held his own in The Karate Kid.

I think the movie was a load of rubbish, junk for pre-teen girls, and not a tribute to the brill oldie at all.

Yes I agree you can say his acting was bad in his other movies like After Earth and The Day the Earth Stood still but in Karate Kid he was good.

Klattuu is a fair person and while I don't really care one way or the other about Jaden Smith I htink he was good in The Karate Kid, I felt sorry for him and I heard if the actor made you feel sorry for them then they did a good job.

Well you all know me I can be a bit direct and I hated when I heard they were remaking "The Karate Kid" and I after gave in and watched it on blu-ray and it was enjoyable and Jaden was fine in the role. Look I be honest I do not like he gats spooon fed roles that other kids have to audition for but I guess those are the perks when your dad is Will Smith.

Karate Kid was just a vehicle to try and make Jaden Smith a movie star but he is not, that said KK was far batter than the debacle that was After Earth.

Yes he was ok in "The Karate Kid" but did you see him in "The Day the Earth Stood Still" I thought he was one of the robots very bad and not to mention the horrific display by him and his wooden dad in the abysmal "After Earth." All those are projects where his dad had influence in and got him the roles, I dont think he has even won an audition.

Karate Kid was awesome I am gald Jaden Smith is back in a second part.

His rents keep producing these movies shoving him down the movie going public's throat. He sucks at acting I did not even go to After Earth but heard it was the crap.
