Bio
David Knoll is a Canadian actor with a wide range of experience performing in short films, features, commercials and episodic television/web series. His love of acting started when he was six after his parents enrolled him in a local acting school where he mastered the fundamentals of his craft. At age 11, he decided he wanted to find an agent and develop an acting career. Since then he has worked non-stop to continually develop his skills and to build a reputation as a serious actor that just happens to be a child and not necessarily a child actor.
No film or role is too small for David and when he is not booking paid roles, he is happy to work on student films to gain new experiences and to develop interesting and diverse characters. One of David's strength's is that he is able to adapt to almost any kind of genre of work including comedy, drama and suspense. One of David's first feature films saw him in a break-out role as Edgar in Vincenzo Natali's "Haunter", where he played opposite Abigail Breslin in this unique thriller-suspense feature. in 2013, David was cast as the lead as Brian Russell in the 12 episode family web/television series, "Kid's Town", which completed filming season 1 in June of 2013.
David is a full member of ACTRA, is in grade eight and attends elementary school in Oakville, Ontario. He is looking forward to starting his high school career in 2014 in one of Canada's foremost performing arts schools. In his spare time he enjoys computers, filmmaking and hanging out with friends, family and his beagle Roxas. He is represented by Shari Quallenberg at AMI Talent Management Inc. and is managed by his father Jeff Knoll.
