Young actress Johnny Sequoyah was born October 25, 2002, in Boise, Idaho, and was introduced to acting at age eight. Sequoyah played Bo on the NBC's drama Believe which premiered Monday, March 10, 2014. In the series, she plays a gifted young girl who has an unlikely relationship with a man sprung from prison whose job is to protect her from the evil elements that hunt her power.

Film roles for Johnny includes "Ass Backwards," (2013) "I Believe in Unicorns " (2014), "Black Eyed Dogs" (2014) along with roles in "Wind Walkers" and "Among Ravens," both directed by her father, Russell Friedenberg, and produced by her mother, Heather Rae.

She also plays Moly in Albion: The Enchanted Stallion (2016), Johnny is also reported to appear on the series American Housewife which is in pre-production.

Sequoyah resides in Los Angeles with her family.
