Maxwell Jenkins was born on April 30, 2005, he is an American teen actor who hails from Chicago; he is known for playing Will Robinson in the Netflix reboot on the classic 1960’s series Lost in Space which premiered on the streaming giant in April 2018, with season 2 to follow at a later date.
Max started his on-screen career playing Oliver on ABC’s “Betrayal” (2013) and followed this up with roles in the series NCIS: New Orleans (2015), and a recurring role as Young Will on “Sense8” and the following year a recurring guest spot on “Chicago Fire” (2016). These leading to his pivotal role as Will Robinson on Netflix’s take on the classic sci-fi series.
Max feature film roles to date include the political thriller “Consumed” (2015), "A Family Man" (2016) in the heartbreaking role of a young boy fighting leukemia opposite Gerard Butler, Gretchen Mol, and Anupam Kher. He also played 10-Year old Owen in "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" (2016). Jenkins will also play Joseph bell in "Good Joe Bell" coming in 2020.
When not acting Max is a member of the Chicago based "Midnight Circus", and can be found playing his mandolin in his band, Cowboy Jesus & The Sugar Bums.
