Teen actor Rohan Chand was born on March 24, 2004, in New York City and he caught the eye of a casting director looking for a boy to play the role of Adam Sandler’s adopted son in the film Jack and Jill. Rohan read for the part and landed the role of Gary Sadelstein at the age of six.
Rohan has since guest-starred on the award-winning Showtime series Homeland playing the role of Issa Nazir in the episode Crossfire with the majority of his scenes interacting with actor Damian Lewis and pulled it off convincingly.
Chand has also starred in the film Bad Words as ‘Chaitanya’ in which a spelling bee loser sets out to exact revenge by finding a loophole and attempting to win as an adult. The film stars Jason Bateman and Ben Falcone. he also appeared in the feature Lone Survivor and "The Hundred-Foot Journey" as Young Hassan Haji. He also had a small role in 2017's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, he also played the role of 'Mowgli" in "Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle." (2018).
He enjoys spending time in Prospect Park, where he takes part in many sports such as baseball. It has been reported he has shown a keen interest in the process of movie-making and uses every opportunity to learn as much as possible as he continues to hone his acting skills.
