The third episode of season 2 is The True Seeing is Within, I was thinking I was not going to like this episode but it had some good dramatic scenes and some great revelations. I automatically think I will not like an episode if it doesn't have all the kids and this one had just Anne, Jerry, Diana and at the very end a bit of Gilbert.
Anne is allowed to go to the city to mail her letter to Gilbert telling him about the gold in Avonlea and while there tried to find some truth.
We see Nate being mean to poor Jerry and that made me mad and hate him even more as I always suspect he is shady as all heck. OK so in Charlottetown Anne meets and talks to a guy Barry who wrote about a previous Gold strike that was fake.
She discovers that Nate and Mr. Dunlop are grifters who are out to rob the townspeople blind when she returns she tells Marilla and Nate overhears and ties them up as he and Mr. Dunlop tries to get away.
Dunlop pulls a gun on Nate as he want the money for himself, Jerry goes after them and gets knocked out for his efforts.
A very exciting episode after all so I did end up liking it, at the very end we see Gilbert reading the letter from Anne and he says there is Gold in Avollea? so I hope he dont go rushing back. lol
