Ed Oxenbould, born June 01, 2001 is a Sydney-based actor who is fast establishing himself as one of Australia's top young talents. Ed started by landing some major national commercial campaigns such as Cheerios, White Wings and has done voice work on television and radio advertising for SPC, Coco Pops and Glade to name a few.
Ed received his big break with being cast in the Disney production Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (2014). Before that he filmed the shorts All God's Creatures and "Julian," which was screened at the Sydney Film Festival and has taken home a variety of international awards including 2012 Berlin Film Festival, Crystal Bear Award, Generation K+ Award; 2012 Hamburg Children’s Film Festival, Friese Award; 2012 Australian Film Festival, People’s Choice Award; and 2012 Flickerfest, Special Jury Prize, Best Short Film Award. The next year he also filmed the short The Amber Amulet. (2013).
Along with Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day he also appeared in the Australian film "Paper Planes" (2014).Fresh off these films he landed a lead role in the M. Night Shyamalan film "The Visit" (2015). His feature film roles continue with the role of Garrett in the film Safe Neighborhood (2016), "Wildlife" (2017) and "The Butterfly Tree." (2017).
On television Ed has guest starred on series such as "Underbelly" 2011), Tricky Business) (2012), "Soul Mates" 2014) and Comedy Bang! Bang! (2015). He was also a series regular on Puberty Blues" (2012-14).
