Taylor Thorne is a Canadian teen actress from Kitchener, Ontario who is best known for her role as Taylor West in the CBC and Netflix produced series "Northern Rescue."
Taylor loved performing from a young age and at age 5 five she started dancing competitively in jazz, contemporary and hip hop which in turn led to her first roles in The Wizard of Oz and Aladdin at The Drayton Theatre.
Taylor kicked off her on-screen career with a guest role as Agent Opa on the hit kids’ show "Odd Squad," the episode titled 'Extreme Cakeover/A Job Well Undone' aired in 2016. She then went on to a recurring role for two episodes on the action series "Condor" based on the novel "Six Days of the Condor" by James Grady, she played Chloe Fowler on the 2018 episodes 'A Good Patriot' and 'A Question of Compromise.'
The year 2019 was a good one for the young actress, besides her role on Northern Rescue, she also appeared in the TV movie "The Sisterhood" as Grace Shields guest-starred on the series "In the Dark" and landed her first feature role as young Sera in "Project Ithaca." She is also in the cast of the feature "Bordello" (2020) playing Mary.
It is reported when not acting she loves hanging out with her friends, singing, playing board games and loves watching TV and movies. An excellent student, Taylor was the head of her middle school’s Leadership Program and graduated to high school at the top of her class.
